Freelance Game Designer

CONTRACT REMOTE GAME DESIGN

We're looking for a creative game designer to help develop mechanics, systems, and documentation for client projects. You'll work closely with our team to design engaging gameplay experiences across video games, board games, and tabletop RPGs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and iterate on game mechanics and systems
  • Create detailed game design documentation
  • Collaborate with developers and artists on implementation
  • Playtest and balance gameplay elements
  • Research market trends and competitor products

Requirements

  • 2+ years of game design experience (professional or substantial personal projects)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking
  • Experience with game design documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Passion for games across multiple genres and platforms

Unity Developer (Part-Time)

PART-TIME REMOTE DEVELOPMENT

Seeking a skilled Unity developer to help bring game concepts to life. You'll be responsible for implementing gameplay systems, UI, and core mechanics for mobile and PC games. This is a part-time role with potential to grow into full-time as projects scale.

Responsibilities

  • Implement gameplay mechanics and systems in Unity
  • Build responsive UI/UX for mobile and desktop
  • Optimize performance for target platforms
  • Integrate audio, art, and animation assets
  • Debug and resolve technical issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Unity development experience
  • Proficiency in C# and Unity's component system
  • Experience shipping at least one game
  • Familiarity with mobile development (iOS/Android)
  • Comfortable working independently with async communication
